DAY 2

I am hanging in there making my goals one day at a time. Of course it's only day 2 lol. Today I ate under 2000 calories. I only had one sweet. And I drank a delicious green smoothie. I also walked on the treadmill 1 mile (just like yesterday ;) I should be making my goal of losing at least 1 lb a week according to myfitnesspal

Here's the food log:
Breakfast
Oat meal with banana, flax meal, cinnamon and vanilla
Decaf coffee 1 tsp evaporated cane juice and soy creamer

Lunch
Left over ziti with marinara and daiya

Snack
Green smoothie

Dinner
1 remaining slice of margarita pizza, Thomas's bagel with earth balance and better than cream cheese, cider and brads kale chips

Dessert
Handful of choc chips

Day 1

Ok so the first day and I met most of my goals I plan on exercising right after this...
I used myfitnesspal app to check out my calories etc. wow for eating better I still ate 2223 calories hmm I think I must usually eat like 3000 or more gulp.

Here's what I ate:
Breakfast
Decaf coffee, soy creamer, a little sugar
Thomas bagel with earth balance and better then cream cheese

Lunch
Green smoothie
Kale, spiralina, Granny Smith apple, banana, blueberry, some vanilla
And a little later
Left over pasta with marinara and a lil daiya mozzerella
Apple cider

Dinner
Most of the vegan Amy's margarita pizza yikes

Oh and dessert a handful of chocolate chips ( vegan of course)

So I met my proposed goals yay no soda yay only one sweet treat and YAY green smoothie but I'm getting ideas for goals for next week lol

The GOALS

I am turning my diet from mainly junkfood to all wholefood vegan.

I am planning to make small changes in my diet and lifestyle each week to move in a healthier direction.
This weeks goals:
1. No soda
2. Green juice or smoothie every day
3. Only one dessert a day
4. Some kind of exercise daily
5. Daily food diary here I will be held accountable lol

WHY

it is time I get serious about eating healthy... It is not right to just eat junkfood, you know processed sugary sodas, chocolaty "nutrition" bars, chips, fries, you name mostly refined and devoid of any nutrients...

I have goals :) I will turn my diet into a healthy one. I will make this a lifestyle choice.

Ok so you wonder why I am doing this. What will keep me motivated and not let this another passing fad. Well here it goes...

#1 WEIGHTLOSS I am at a turning point, my pants are the biggest ever, you know the size you inherently knew you would never go above. My weight on the scale is at a bigger turning point, at my heaviest and something has clicked. I can't wait for my clothes to get loose... Weightloss is huge

#2 HEALTH i have been getting every cold, bug, sore throat etc. going around. I am done. I am amping up my nutrition which as basically cardboard until now. I will be the healthy vegan with a strong immune system, glowing skin, and bundles of energy :D

#3 the CAUSE: I should be supporting the benefits of eating vegan not just eating junkfood. Really I think I should of been called a junkfoody or something not vegan... So it's for the animals, the planet, and PEACE...
